Kendra Scott Candle Launch

Kendra Scott Candle Launch

Big news to share with you all today!  As some of you may know, Kendra Scott just launched a line of candles and they are amazing!!

For the launch of the candle collection, I was invited to attend a little launch party at the Kendra Scott store in Bellevue at the Bellevue Square Mall.  This was my first event I got to attend as a blogger and it was a pretty cool experience, definitely a big step for me and my blog which was awesome.  I got a first look at the new line of candles, picked the one I liked best and got it personalized with my name on it by the event’s calligrapher!

Spring Florals

Spring Florals

Happy first day of Spring!  I am SO excited to finally be saying goodbye to winter.  Seriously so sick of being cold all the time and ready for some sunshine and warmth!

In honor of today being the first day of spring, I will be sharing with all of you a look at one of my absolute favorite new tops for spring.

This floral top is so cute and perfect for Spring, I love it!  I recently bought the top at this cute little boutique in downtown Kirkland called Seduce Boutique (Side note that Seduce is a clothing boutique, not a lingerie store!)  This was my first time shopping at Seduce and I loved it!  They have the cutest clothes that are totally trendy and in style.

I typically don’t wear many floral tops because I’m usually one of those people who stick with basic or neutral colored tops that aren’t very bright or loud.  But as of recently, I have started to like them more than I used to and feel that they are the perfect kind of tops to wear during the springtime.  The floral print mixed with the top ruffles and front tie makes it that much cuter!

In today’s look, I have paired the top with my go-to skinny jeans and one of my favorite pairs of sandals for a ready-for-spring outfit.  While trying on the top with a couple different kinds of pants, I have found that the top looks best with either skinny jeans or cropped-Capri pants, and especially with sandals!

Shoutout to Seduce for carrying a super cute selection of clothing,! Honestly one of my new favorite boutiques.

Today’s OOTD consists of one of my new shopping finds, this super cute cover-up sweater from Free People! What I love about this sweater is that it can be dressed in so many ways, something I really like about articles of clothing.  It’s a fairly light fashion sweater, which makes it work with shorts on sunny days like this, or even a cute pair of jeans and ankle booties any other day.

But as the weather has been so nice, I have paired the sweater with a pair of black denim shorts and sandals.  Free People is very boho and definitely gives off a music festival, indie vibe, which is kind of fun to dress up every once in a while!  This sweater is also a great cover-up for a beach day or even a day at home to stay comfy and cozy.

The sweater is a bit pricey, but it’s super cute and can be used in so many ways that it makes it totally worth the price you pay.  Just be careful of washing the sweater in the laundry! I, unfortunately, made the mistake of sticking it in the laundry with all my other clothes with warm water to have it come out of the laundry and dryer completely messed up and raggedy, which I eventually ended up having to exchange for a new one. Definitely aware of the problem and will be handwashing the sweater with cold water!
