Hey all, if you follow me on Instagram (you can find me here) I recently took a poll in stories from my followers asking about interest in a Q+A post, and I got so much great feedback!
I always love to check up with you guys to see what kind of content you want to see on the blog or just general questions you may have, I am happy to answer all of your questions!
And I got some great questions that I’d love to share with you all because who knows, maybe it’s a question you have too and I hope to do my best at answering them.
Q: “Where do you do most of your shopping?! I love getting inspo from real people!”
A: I shop primarily at Macy’s, Nordstrom, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, H&M, and Forever 21. Although lately, I have found myself doing most of my shopping at Macy’s and Abercrombie & Fitch. Macy’s has an amazing selection of Lucky Brand and Free People, both brands that I absolutely love. Plus, it’s a department store so there’s always something to look for (and for the most part affordable!) Abercrombie & Fitch has also stepped up their game big time and it’s now one of my favorite stores. I can always find something I like there, everything is so cute and trendy.
Q: “Where did you make your website or who did you have do it?”
A: I use a pre-designed template from WordPress that I have customized to my liking. It is an inexpensive theme that I have found best represents my blog and style.
Q: “How did you get to the point you’re at now with your blog? Because you’re doing so well!”
A: I started my blog casually 2 years ago just for fun. I really had no idea what I was doing at all, no algorithm or set schedule, just random blog and social media posts. Just recently within the last few months, I started really getting into it. I literally spend about 2 hours or more per day on social media trying to market myself. I spend a lot of time on Instagram engaging with others and taking notes on what others are doing so well that can help me out. I schedule blog posts and social media posts throughout the week, at popular times of the day, etc. And I also just write about what I like and what my readers like.
Q: “Did you grow up in the Seattle area?”
A: I did! I am a born and raised Washingtonian, Seattleite, all those Washington native words, lol. I have lived in Washington my entire life. I have also lived in the Seattle area a majority of my life (minus two years I spent in Pullman in eastern Washington for my first 2 years of college). I am almost 22 so almost 22 years living in Washington. While it is a very pretty state with so much to see and do, I feel like I’ve seen and done just about everything and I am so ready for a change. It is my goal to find a job out-of-state upon graduating college. I just feel like I am ready for a change of scenery and want to experience something new and different.
Q: “Where did you meet your boyfriend?”
A: My boyfriend and I met at Macy’s where we both work part-time jobs. At the time, I had just started working at Macy’s for about a month, while he was working at the Sunglass Hut inside the Macy’s. I thought he was the absolute cutest and I guess he thought the same thing about me! We would always catch each other staring at one another during work and I would always find excuses to walk past the Sunglass Hut and vice versa. I pretended I was looking for some new sunglasses one day and asked if he could help me and after that we’d always talk to each other during work and really got to know one another. Soon after he asked me out and we’ve been inseparable ever since!
Hope you guys enjoyed this Q+A post, and keep sending in more questions! I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have and would love to do more posts like this!
Thanks for reading!
