Lucky Brand Cutout Sweater

I have a huge thing for the cropped sweatshirt trend this spring and have been on the lookout for a while now.  I did not like the trend at all when it first became popular but over the past few months, I don’t know why but my opinion toward it totally changed and now I just love them!

So today I am styling my first cropped sweatshirt that I have purchased!  The Lucky Brand Striped Cutout Sweatshirt.  There are so many reasons I love this sweatshirt and I am so excited to share!

First of all, this sweatshirt is SO comfortable.  I literally feel like I am wearing pajamas when I wear the sweatshirt but it’s cute and it’s the perfect cover-up sweatshirt casual wear for going to the beach, hanging out around home, just about anything!

Plus, if you really know me, you know I’m just drawn to striped sweaters and tops.  I don’t know why but I find them super cute.  What I love in particular about this sweatshirt, other than the fact that it’s Lucky Brand (one of my favorite brands!), is the additional detailing on the back that you don’t find on every sweatshirt out there, a cutout and ties.  The open back detailing to this sweatshirt is so fun and perfect for the warmer months to keep you cool while still wearing a comfortable sweatshirt.  It’s so boho and trendy, I just love it!

I always make sure just to wear a bralette underneath this sweatshirt because of the open back, don’t want to reveal too much!

I am wearing a size XS and it definitely fits true to size, it fits well all around (loose fitting) while still showing a little bit of the crop.  And the best part, it’s on an amazing sale at Macy’s for under $40!  The perfect time to shop.
