Does anyone else find the summer to fall transition period challenging when it comes to planning out your outfits and figuring out what to wear each day? I can’t believe it’s already getting close to that time of year where it’s going to start getting cold in the morning and then hot in the afternoons. Outfit planning becomes insanely hard! So today I will be sharing two of my favorite looks that perfectly incorporate summer and fall for the summer to fall transition period.
One of my favorite trending wardrobe pieces right now is bodysuits! I remember thinking when I first saw a bodysuit and when bodysuits started to become a trend how weird and uncomfortable I thought they looked, a couple years later and now I’m obsessed!
Now that I am done with school, I feel like I have so much more time on my hands to start reading again. When I was in school I had a crazy amount to read already from all my class textbooks on top of my homework, projects, exams, work, and all my other responsibilities that I felt like I never really had time to read just for fun. I would always read books during the summertime or on vacations but would never have the time to during the school years or anytime else really. But now that I am done with school for good, I’ve tried to make it a goal to read more regularly now that I have the time to!
I recently finished reading Rachel Hollis’ book Girl, Stop Apologizing, and immediately wanted to share it on my blog because it is SO inspiring and motivating. I feel like it’s one of those books that everyone needs to read to help stay motivated to achieve any big goal or dream of yours that you may have and to go at with confidence.
It’s no secret that this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary sale has been super popular because of all the cute items available for fall, as always things have been selling out insanely fast. I know that it’s practically expected for fashion and style bloggers to cover content for the sale because of the sale’s success each year, and as the sale has been going on for about a week and a half now, I know I’m a bit late to the game, but wanted to share my reasoning with you all first before jumping in to my finds! Also, be sure to look out for a little update I’ll be sharing in regards to my blog life!
One of my favorite workwear trends in the summertime is pairing block heels or high heel pumps with skinny jeans because of how the high heel shoe instantly dresses up any outfit you’re putting together. While we have had a lot of rainy days this summer in Seattle, we have also had some insanely hot days as well and I’ve been wearing so many tanks to work on those hot and humid summer days.
I don’t know about you, but whenever I am putting an outfit together with my high heels and skinny jeans, it always reminds of that one scene out of The Devil Wears Prada when they’re showing all of these ladies walk to work along the streets of New York in their high heels and cute stylish work outfits. 10 years later and it’s still giving me all the workwear inspo haha.
