I got quite a bit of requests through Instagram to talk more about the foods I eat in a day as someone who has a pretty sensitive stomach. I have mild IBS, a food allergy to garlic and onion, mild lactose intolerance, and overall a pretty sensitive stomach (which has made me a pretty picky eater) so I wanted to share what an average day looks like for me when it comes to my food and meal choices.

I slightly stick to the low-FODMAP diet as this diet is recommended for those with IBS, but have discovered I can still eat certain foods that the diet tells you to avoid, so this can definitely vary from person to person, but this video kind of shows what an average day looks like for me with what I can eat.

In today's vlog, we head on a little road trip down to Portland to spend the day. This was my first time going out of Washington in almost 2 years so I pretty much could not stop smiling the entire day! For someone who loves to travel, it's been a bit rough not being able to travel many places this past year but so thankful Portland is just a few hours away from us, enough to make a little day trip out of it.

We explore Multnomah Falls (something we've been wanting to do for so long), attempt to get our fried chicken fix in from the new Raising Cane's restaurant that opened up in downtown Portland, enjoy a little picnic in the sun by the waterfront, and more!

In this vlog, we do one of my favorite winter hikes in the PNW, Lake 22. Lake 22 is located just outside of the greater Seattle area and is an absolute dream in the wintertime when it's covered in snow. The views were unreal and felt like we were walking through an actual winter wonderland! This was our second time hiking this trail and I highly recommend visiting in the wintertime, it's magical and so much prettier to look at than any other time of year, in my opinion!

SNOW DAY VLOG | A PNW winter wonderland hike

In this vlog, we head to two of our favorite spots to visit around winter/Christmastime in WA, Gold Creek Pond Trail, and Leavenworth. Gold Creek Pond Trail is located near Snoqualmie Pass and Leavenworth is a cute Bavarian-style/German town located in central WA that is always so festive around Christmas and is one of our favorite annual traditions this time of year. Each year we visit Leavenworth, we always stop at one of our favorite Christmas shops, Kris Kringl, and always eat at The Loft.
