About a week ago, I received my very first Erin Condren Life Planner and I was beyond excited. Recently, I discovered Erin Condren Life Planners on Instagram through following one of my role models, Nastia Liukin, who recently did a brand collaboration with Erin Condren, designing her own life planner cover.
After seeing her collaboration, I instantly adored it and felt that it was perfect and just what I needed. Nastia’s cover design includes her life motto that I believe to be super motivating, “Be Fearless.” I love the powerful quote with the pretty pink color and pink and white stars surrounding it, definitely a girl’s type of planner!
I started exploring erincondren.com and found the gold-medal collaboration. When going to purchase, I found it so awesome to have the freedom of customization of how I wanted my planner to look on the inside (such as horizontal or vertical layout) as well as my name printed on the cover. I loved it and had so much fun designing and customizing it!
But moving on.
I have noticed that as I get older and my life schedule seems to get crazier and crazier, I am becoming one of those people who needs to have things written down in order to motivate myself to get things done and check off tasks from my lists.
But I didn’t want just any ordinary black and white planner you can find at the office supplies store, I wanted something colorful and fun to look at as I plan out my day to day life. And I have found that Erin Condren planners are the way to go to make that happen.
As I have started using my planner, I think one of my favorite things about it has to be the motivational quotes. The quotes are everywhere through the planner and they are definitely words that I like to hear, and words that motivate me to work towards my goals.
When penciling in my day to day tasks, I like to match the fun and color of the planner by using some glittery gel pens of my own to make it look pretty. That’s just something I like to do to make it more fun to look at!
Going about the actual planning process, I like to go week by week and day by day for the most part. In the month calendar portion, I like to plan out little things throughout the week that I’d like to accomplish, such as goals I am currently working on, as well as using the Erin Condren sticker pack to mark important dates such as birthday’s or appointments. Shown in the image above, I have penciled in working out every night of the week that correlates with my list of goals on the side panel of the calendar. This is because fitness and training for upcoming 5k’s are currently motivating me to put myself on a regular fitness routine, and penciling this in on my life planner really pushes me to get that done each day.
When I look at the weekly calendar views, I like to write down important things happening that day such as my goals or whatever else that might be happening, while finishing the day with a thankful thought or reflection of the day’s goal in the little side box at night time before I go to sleep.
For those who love planning or being organized and motivated, the Erin Condren life planner is definitely a must have. It is seriously one of the best things I have purchased in quite a while. I have never felt so motivated to stick to my goals, in such a fun and creative way too!
