Does anyone else actually really struggle with finding clothes to wear this time of year? I don’t know about everywhere else, but in Seattle, this summer/fall transition period is SO hard outfit wise. It’s cold AF in the morning and then SO hot in the afternoon, it’s like do I pack an extra outfit with me during the day to change into later or just suffer from either being too hot or too cold? The struggle is SO real. But, I have been shopping around and have found some super cute pieces that are absolutely perfect for this season transition time of year! And I have found that the key is light layers that you can adjust throughout the day.
It’s kind of that time of year where you can start to wear sweaters, but not too thick of sweaters, more lightweight and loose fit kind of sweaters. I am so pumped to finally be wearing and shopping around for sweaters again though, gets me so excited! I found the cutest transition sweater at Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and I love it, it has the cutest twist detailing in the front and is a really nice waffle-cut material, so cute and cozy! I am wearing a size XXS for reference and it does fit TTS with a bit of a crop to it as well. I recommend wearing high rise or mid rise bottoms with this sweater.
I typically wear this sweater with a cute bralette underneath, that way if I get warmer later in the day, I can always pull down the shoulder a little bit to cool off while also staying trendy and showing my accessories. The bralette really goes well with this sweater and is so easy to adjust throughout the day. If I’m feeling a little cold, both shoulders are covered, and if I’m starting to get warm, I can expose one shoulder to cool off.
I’ve also been obsessed with ankle jeans this year, I just love the style and fit and love how well they pair with this sweater. And depending on the weather, sandals or ankle boots are perfect for this kind of outfit!
Definitely getting a little better at shopping for this time of year, although sometimes it can still be so difficult to know what to wear when the weather changes so much in a day. What are some of your summer/fall transition pieces? Comment below!!

Same! Plus, the smoke seems to be making a come back and it strangely looks like fog. It’s very deceiving in the mornings. Tanks and a very light cardigan have been my go-tos during work. I’m still throwing on my jean jacket over dresses too. Fingers cross the cool wind starts to come in this week! xo

I’ve kind of noticed the smoke too, so over it! Ready for a little bit of rain!
