It’s no secret that this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary sale has been super popular because of all the cute items available for fall, as always things have been selling out insanely fast. I know that it’s practically expected for fashion and style bloggers to cover content for the sale because of the sale’s success each year, and as the sale has been going on for about a week and a half now, I know I’m a bit late to the game, but wanted to share my reasoning with you all first before jumping in to my finds! Also, be sure to look out for a little update I’ll be sharing in regards to my blog life!
Typically when Nordstrom has their sales, I would share my finds either the beginning day of the sale or right before it started. But this year, with how popular the sale was, I decided to wait until now to share. The reasoning for this is because literally after the first two days of the sale (which was still only for VIP status members or cardholders), practically everything was sold out. This was so disappointing! I didn’t want to share my finds with you all and disappoint you as well when you see something that you like only to find out that it’s sold out and no longer in stock. It was disappointing for me and I didn’t want that to happen with you all too!
Over the weekend as the beginning of public access started, I decided to go into the store and see what I could find or see what was left because I felt that those were the items really worth sharing since it’s something still available to you all as well. I wasn’t going in with high expectations, but was actually really surprised at how many cute things I still found that weren’t completely picked over!
So today I’ll be sharing all the things I found that I thought were so cute and worth sharing in a little fitting room try-on haul. I ended up leaving with 3 things (and ordered one of the items online a couple days ago). I literally wanted all of these items I tried on but was trying to be good and keep myself on a budget haha. Also sorry about how dusty and dirty these mirrors were for my photos!
1. Thread & Supply Wubby Fleece Pullover // Originally $78, Now $49.90
I bought last year’s style of the Thread & Supply pullover during the 2018 Anniversary sale and it was literally the best money I had spent during last year’s sale. These pullovers are insanely warm and soft and are just what you need during the wintertime. They last forever too! When Seattle had the snowstorm in February, I wore my fleece pullover almost every single day as it was 20 degrees and below and it kept me SO warm. Worth every penny. While I really wanted this year’s style, I tried to be good and stick with the one I already have. But 10/10 definitely recommend, so cozy and warm!
2. BP Longline Open Cardigan // Originally $49, Now $31.90
I absolutely loved this cardigan! I ended up buying this one because you can never have enough sweaters and cardigans for the fall and this dark yellow/orange cardigan gave me all the pumpkin and fall vibes, especially paired with my black hat! I got the XXS and it fits perfectly.
3. BP Bishop Long Sleeve Blouse // Originally $55, Now $35.90
I thought this blouse was SO cute for fall and even for wearing to work with some jeans too. I love the button-up style and how flowy it is. I didn’t end up taking this one home, but really wanted to!
4. BP Lightweight Sweater // Originally $39, now $25.90
I absolutely love this sweater for fall because of the neutral color, and the lightweight material. I bought this sweater because I practically live in sweaters and cardigans during the fall and really wanted to add more variety to my wardrobe! I thought it would be super cute worn with a scarf as well.
5. BP V-Neck Tee // Originally $15, Now $11.90
I literally get these tees every year during the Nordstrom sale because I wear them year-round! Like $10 for a tee, how could I not? Usually, by the time of the Anniversary Sale, I always need to restock on my basic tees and then I’m good until next year’s sale haha. These are some of my favorite tees because they go with everything and can be styled so many different ways, they also come in a couple different colors as well!
6. BP Raw Edge Pocket Tee // Originally $25, now $15.90
So this one I actually ordered online a couple of days ago because I had no idea if my Norstrom store was going to have it and knew I definitely wanted it haha. I got last year’s style during the sale last year and have gotten so much use out of it that I knew the same would happen with this year’s style too. Last year I got the XXS and decided to size up to the XS this year because while the XXS still fits great, it’s a bit tight in the sleeves so wanted it to be more fitting. But these tees are so cute on their own or even paired with a cardigan over as well, so perfect for fall, plus if you know me and my obsession with stripe tees, you know I just had to have it lol.
