How to Style Your Outfits for the Summer to Fall Transition

Does anyone else find the summer to fall transition period challenging when it comes to planning out your outfits and figuring out what to wear each day? I can’t believe it’s already getting close to that time of year where it’s going to start getting cold in the morning and then hot in the afternoons.  Outfit planning becomes insanely hard! So today I will be sharing two of my favorite looks that perfectly incorporate summer and fall for the summer to fall transition period.

My number one tip when it comes to styling your outfits for the summer to fall transition is to pair cute summer essentials like shorts and a hat with cute fall pieces like ankle booties and a cardigan.  Paired together this makes the perfect combined summer and fall styled look!

For this first look, I wore a long sleeve tee under my cardigan for that extra layer of warmth on cooler mornings. The stripes are so cute, especially for getting into the fall season!  Plus, if you really know me, you know I am all about the neutrals, especially for fall, and this is another great way to incorporate those fall tones into a summer to fall look.

This next look maybe my favorite for the summer to fall transition because of the fall colors! I paired my yellow/orange cardigan with my black hat and neutral outfit and love it for fall! If only it were nice enough to wear shorts in October, you would definitely find me wearing this to the pumpkin patch haha.
