Is it just me or is finding the perfect pair of distressed denim shorts unusually difficult? I found one of my favorite pairs of distressed shorts a couple years ago and then grew out of them. The struggle was real trying to find a new pair that I liked and fit nicely, and was overall similar to my favorite pair.
For me personally, I feel like once I find a good pair of distressed shorts, I need to get a couple pairs because I will seriously wear them all summer long! After what felt like endless searching for a cute pair of denim shorts with the perfect amount of distressing, that fit well, and were reasonably affordable, I finally found the perfect pair and have already gotten so much use out of them!
I got this pair from PacSun not too long ago and wear them all. the. time. They go with everything! Their ‘high-rise festival short’ collection has the best selection of high rise distressed shorts for the summer and I love the distressed style of it!
Sharing some of my favorite ways to style this pair of shorts for the summer below:
I got the size 24 which is my usual size, sometimes a 23, but these fit great! They’re a little bit tighter in the waist but a looser fit everywhere else, the 24 is definitely the way to go in this case! Last time, I got the 23 and they were a bit snug all over.
