Happy first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! If you’re not already familiar, Nordstrom holds their Anniversary sale every summer where they release all of their new arrivals for fall on discounted sale prices for a limited time before they are marked full price. This is probably the best sale each year and is the perfect time to stock up on trending fall and winter pieces for a discounted price rather than waiting to shop later. The sale is typically every July, however, given everything that’s happened this year, was pushed to August. And honestly, I’m actually kind of into the fact that the sale is in August now, the last thing I want to be doing in the heat of summer in July is shop for fall and winter clothing. I feel like it just makes so mcuh more sense this year!
Before I get into sharing my sale picks and some of the outfits I have put together, I wanted to share some important dates to know regarding the sale.
Any “Early Access” dates means that depending on which level of Nordstrom card holder you are, you would have the option to shop on the given date. I personally do not have a Nordstrom card so I won’t be shopping the sale until August 19th when it opens up to everyone! Keep in mind that things sell out insanely quick during the sale (super popular items may not even come back in stock) so you’ll want to try to shop as early as you can given your Nordstrom status.
Nordstrom actually launched their preview on July 24th. What this means for you is that if you can’t shop the sale yet, you can actually start going through the Nordstrom website and adding items to your wishlist (if you have a Nordstrom account) so you can easily shop your favorites when it’s time! I’ve personally been linking some cute shoes and accessories into my favorites folder so they’re easily ready to shop on August 19th. You can also do the same if you follow me in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app! You can go through each item I’ve linked here in today’s post and add anything to your Favorites folder in the app to easily shop when it’s time to as well.
