4 Summer to Fall Transition Outfits

I can’t believe it’s already that time of year where my favorite season is slowly starting to come to an end. Can anyone else agree that summer always goes by way too fast? And that finding the perfect outfit for the summer to fall transition can be especially tricky when it’s cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon? So far August here in the Seattle area has been really nice and I have been loving it. We’ve had a lot of sun and hot days which means my summer wardobe is continuing on for a bit before I make the full fall transition. Today I wanted to share four of my favorite summer to fall transition outfits featuring some of the items I purchased from the Nordstrom sale this year!

Look #1:

This is one of my favorite outfits in my wardrobe right now, I just can’t get enough of each piece! My black jeans are Madewell from the Nordstrom sale last year. The good news is that Madewell has similar styles in the Nordstrom sale again this year as well! Their jeans are some of the best! I’ve worn these so much since I got them just a year ago and they go with practically everything. I paired it with this cute crop tank from Urban Outfitters (under $20) that I’ve been wearing on repeat lately – it’s seriously so soft and comfortable, my favorite wide-brim hat from Forever 21 (under $30), and Vici bag that doubles as a backpack (under $40)! My snakeskin mules are sold out but Steve Madden is selling very similar pairs in the Nordstrom sale this year too! My outfit and similar options are linked at the end if you’re interested!

Look #2:

I purchased these jeans from the Nordstrom sale this year (on sale under $50!) and I love them! This is a brand I don’t typically buy from but tried them on in the fitting rooms and loved the fit and how they looked, not to mention the distressing, one of my favorite parts about these jeans. I just thought they’d be so cute for fall and they go with practically everything. To give my outfit more of a fall vibe to it, I paired it with another one of my wide-brim hats, button tank bodysuit, snakeskin mules, and backpack/bag, and of course an iced cinnamon dolce latte in hand. I love the iced version of this drink in the summer and the hot version in the fall and winter, my favorite!

Look #3:

One of my favorite summer to fall transition looks each year is to pair cute fall ankle booties and a cardigan with shorts and a tank or bodysuit. I just love the style of that look! These ankle booties are a part of the Nordstrom sale this year and are on sale just under $100 (regular price after sale almost $200!) such a good deal, I could not pass them up. They have been going in and out of stock online but will link at the end for those that want to snag a pair before the sale ends! These shorts are not part of the sale, but are Nordstrom finds in the Free People section and I LOVE them, just the right amount of distressing and love how it looks with this summer/fall boho style look.

Another summer to fall favorite of mine is pairing cute cropped sweaters with shorts and mules. I freaking love my mules and ankle booties this time of year, it’s like all I wear with all of my outfits. My exact sweater is from Princess Polly (linked here) and so cute for summer and fall. Linking my exact sweater below and other similar options as well along with the full outfit details.
