As most of you probably know by now, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to the public which means anyone (including non-Nordstrom cardholders) can now shop the sale! Every year I always have a love/hate relationship with the sale as a public access shopper. It can be very frustrating how a lot of popular styles sell out during the early access stages of the sale and sometimes never restock again for public shoppers or even after the sale is over. However, I always love to check out the sale each year because you really can find some cute and trendy pieces for Fall (and if you’re lucky, find some of those pieces you saved to your wishlist that restock!)
I headed to two local Nordstrom stores on Wednesday when the sale opened to the public (and of course shopped a little online) and found some cute pieces, some that still had a ton of sizes left in stock, that I wanted to round up today if you’re a public access shopper like me. If your size is out of stock or a particular item is sold out completely, I would honestly just keep checking back throughout the rest of the sale until August 8th, a lot of people will return things that didn’t work out for them and Nordstrom may even restock certain pieces throughout the rest of the sale. So there is some hope and it’s always worth a check, you never know what you’ll find!
The Thread & Supply Wubby Fleece Jackets are a classic every year during the sale and each year they come out with a new style of their signature classic. I love the snap-front style this year and this cute neutral ivory-toned color! I am wearing a size S here and I’d say they run pretty true to size with a bit of a roomier fit. I thought this one was so cute and just couldn’t say no! Would be so cute for fall and winter! These usually stay in stock throughout most of the public access stage of the sale too, and when they do sell out, Nordstrom is usually pretty good at bringing them back in stock right away.

I thought this Free People oversized turtleneck sweater was so cute and cozy for Fall and could actually be worn a couple different ways. If you size up a size or two, it makes for the perfect sweater dress as I am wearing here (wearing in a size Medium) with over the knee boots, or as a regular sweater would be really cute paired with either faux leather leggings or regular leggings and either ankle booties or over the knee boots.

You also can’t go wrong with BP basics. Nordstrom usually does a good job of throwing in some BP Fall basics each year during the sale and I loved this cute crewneck sweater. I am wearing a size S and it fit just like an XS – size up if you’re looking to buy!

The Nordstrom store I visited had a ton of plaid shirt jackets available, however, when I checked online to link it, I could not find the exact one. I’ve linked a couple similar styles that are a part of the sale instead. I thought this one was cute I just didn’t completely love it on me, but I thought the colors were cute for winter and love how it looked with jeans, would even be cute with leggings too!

This faux suede skirt was another item that my store had a ton of stock available in that I just could not find online – always check your local Nordstrom store just in case! I’ve never worn a leather jacket in my life so I felt like kindof a bad*ss when I tried this one on. Thought it was cute but not totally my style!

When I first saw this jacket on the hanger I actually thought it was just okay but decided to give it a shot and try it on. After trying it on I loved it so much more than I thought I would! It’s actually really cute and I ended up buying this one. Definitely trying to up my coat game these past two years – I always thought my coat selection was so boring and trying to add a bit more variety into the mix. I’m wearing a size S here for a more roomier fit.

And here is the charcoal version of the Thread & Supply Wubby Fleece Jacket. I actually still have my charcoal fleece pullover from the sale about three years ago – it’s super cozy and warm for those chilly winter days, just like wearing a blanket! I personally love the ivory tone more and definitely had to grab that one before the sale ends!

I also love picking out some cute ankle booties during the Nordstrom Sale because they usually have a pretty cute selection. I always add the Steve Madden pairs to my wishlist and they sell out and never come back lol so I will typically find a super similar style that I end up buying. These Vince Camuto ones are very similar and so cute and comfortable! They will look so cute with so many fall outfits too!
