As I’ve defined my style over the years, I try not to buy into the trends that quickly come and go. As an everyday basic and neutral-style girlie, I like to buy into “trends” that can also be wardrobe staples and worn many times without really “going out of style”. So far this year, I’ve personally found myself shopping more at Abercrombie and Everlane for nice, quality basics.

Some trends I’m loving for Spring this year are basic bodysuits, wide-leg trouser pants, boyfriend jeans, off-the-shoulder midi dresses, babydoll-style dresses, and ribbed tops. Being petite, I personally did not think I could pull off wide-leg trousers, but I ended up loving them and love how they pair with a basic bodysuit.
If you’re looking for nice, quality basics that are more “in-trend”, I’d definitely recommend checking out Abercrombie! I’m wearing the Abercrombie Seamless Fabric Tank Bodysuit and Sloane Tailored Pant, which are both currently on sale! The Seamless Fabric Tank Bodysuit fits true to size and comes in a couple of different colors. As a neutral-style girlie, I personally love it in shade “Brown”, although I’d consider it more of a mauve tone. The Sloane Tailored Pant runs a bit long in the leg, primarily because of my height, but fits great everywhere else. I’m wearing size 24 in shade “Light Taupe”, but it also comes in a variety of other colors as well.
What I love about the wide-leg trouser pant trend is the timeless, but also dressed-up look of it. Would be a cute option for church, the office, and even just a weekend brunch or wine-tasting! In this post, I’ve also rounded up some pieces I’ve recently purchased and/or am currently eyeing.
