I swear I have what feels like the thinnest hair in the world. The fact that I can wrap my pinky finger around all the hair on my head goes to show just how fine and thin my hair really is. It took me years to find good hair products that applied to my hair type, didn’t leave my hair looking like an oil slick, didn’t leave a film in my hair, etc. My fellow thin-haired girls probably know the struggle. So today I wanted to round up the hair products I use on my hair that leaves my hair feeling healthy and clean, and are so good for fine and thin hair! I’ll be sharing the hair products I use for hair care, hair styling, and washing my hair! All products used are linked at the end. If you are also someone who has fine and thin hair, this post is for you!Continue reading “The Hair Products I Use for Fine + Thin Hair”
It can be so hard balancing keeping a light and fresh face of makeup on while also taking care of your skin during the summer time with all of the time in the sun, but I feel like it’s the one season out of the year where my skin can truly breathe and catch a break which I love. While I spend just about all of my time out in the sun during the summertime, I always like to keep a light face of makeup on too so I’m not completely bare, and take extra good care of my skin to prevent sun damage. Today I’ll be rounding up some of my favorite go-to skincare and beauty products for the summertime as we’re just now days away from my favorite season out of the year!Continue reading “My Summer Skincare & Beauty Must-Haves”
Let’s talk self-tanners!
Ever since I first started using self-tanners 2 years ago I have absolutely loved it and cannot imagine going without. As a born and raised Seattleite you can only imagine how pale my skin is (it is pale AF and so blinding, especially in the wintertime!). I use my self-tanners at least 1-2 times per week and love having a natural glow and tan skin, it really changes so much about your appearance that I never would have even thought of. Because of my fair skin, I don’t like to have noticeably dark skin and try to stick with more medium-toned self-tanners to the point where I have a nice tan that isn’t too dark for my complexion.
Over the years as I have experimented more with different self-tanning products, I’ve finally come to narrow down my favorites that I will be rounding up in today’s post.
I have been trying out so many new makeup and skincare products this summer that I felt were definitely worth sharing as a lot of what I’m sharing today has completely transformed my skin over the past month. Now that I’m getting older, I’ve started to pay a lot more attention than I used to about my facial features and skin features and finding different products to try to sort of fix particular features and overall improve my skin. And these have all worked incredibly well for me!
The summer months are my favorite for so many reasons, one of them, in particular, being out in the sun on warm and sunny days or by the water. Because of the amount of time we spend in the sun or at the pool/beach during these months, I like to keep a fresh and natural face of makeup that lasts. So today, I will be sharing some of my favorite go-to makeup products that I use on a regular basis throughout the summertime. These can all be shopped at the end as well if you’re interested in any of these products!
