It just occurred to me that Thanksgiving is already only less than 3 weeks away, so crazy! Fortunately, I’ve already got my outfit that I’ll be wearing to the dinner table all picked out and ready to go that I hope gives you all a little inspiration on what to wear for your Thanksgiving festivities this year too!
Does anyone else find the summer to fall transition period challenging when it comes to planning out your outfits and figuring out what to wear each day? I can’t believe it’s already getting close to that time of year where it’s going to start getting cold in the morning and then hot in the afternoons. Outfit planning becomes insanely hard! So today I will be sharing two of my favorite looks that perfectly incorporate summer and fall for the summer to fall transition period.
Happy midweek! Hope everyone is having a great week so far! Lots have been happening for me this week, I could go on and on but I do not want to bore you and just want to share this super cute bodycon dress with y’all because I am obsessed!
So I actually got this dress as a part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale back in August, but good news, it is on sale again for a great deal! I’m like slowly becoming more and more of a dress-wearing kind of girl, for some reason I just never used to be a fan. But now I love to style them in so many different cute ways! And what I love about this bodycon dress, in particular, is that you really can style it in so many different ways and it is superrrrr comfortable.
Cute camis and cardigans are definitely my go-to during the fall. So easy to put together and they are just so cute no matter what!
Does anyone else actually really struggle with finding clothes to wear this time of year? I don’t know about everywhere else, but in Seattle, this summer/fall transition period is SO hard outfit wise. It’s cold AF in the morning and then SO hot in the afternoon, it’s like do I pack an extra outfit with me during the day to change into later or just suffer from either being too hot or too cold? The struggle is SO real. But, I have been shopping around and have found some super cute pieces that are absolutely perfect for this season transition time of year! And I have found that the key is light layers that you can adjust throughout the day.
It’s kind of that time of year where you can start to wear sweaters, but not too thick of sweaters, more lightweight and loose fit kind of sweaters. I am so pumped to finally be wearing and shopping around for sweaters again though, gets me so excited! I found the cutest transition sweater at Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and I love it, it has the cutest twist detailing in the front and is a really nice waffle-cut material, so cute and cozy! I am wearing a size XXS for reference and it does fit TTS with a bit of a crop to it as well. I recommend wearing high rise or mid rise bottoms with this sweater.
