Good morning, friends! I rarely share my blog posts on the weekends but I’ve been having a super cozy weekend staying in since it’s been raining all weekend so far and fully embracing it and taking this time to relax and enjoy some time in. I absolutely love relaxing weekends this time of year and honestly always look forward to it. As the rainy season starts to kick in here in Seattle, I see many relaxing weekends staying in for the near future and wanted to share some of my favorite things for days like these in today’s post.Continue reading “Cozy Fall Days In Essentials”
As I was brainstorming and planning out this week’s blog content, I was scrolling through some Facebook groups that I’m a part of and saw a couple posts from people asking, “What are y’ alls current favorites right now?” As I read this, I was immediately inspired to create this blog post today as I thought this was the perfect way to kind of round up all the things I’m currently loving this month as we head into fall, such as my essential clothing pieces I’ve been loving this month, current makeup favorites, and other random things. Hope you all like the post! I’m really considering maybe doing posts like this either once a month or once per season, let me know what you think!
Happy Friday friends! Is it just me or did this week fly by? I was on a little break from school this week and it went way too fast, as always lol.
But I am so excited about fall this year, I think mainly because of the fashion and all the fall leaves! Mini skirts and corduroy are becoming such a trend right now for fall and it is actually one of my favorite trends, they’re just so cute! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I was absolutely raving about this trend on my most recent IGTV video in a fall clothing try-on haul!
Does anyone else actually really struggle with finding clothes to wear this time of year? I don’t know about everywhere else, but in Seattle, this summer/fall transition period is SO hard outfit wise. It’s cold AF in the morning and then SO hot in the afternoon, it’s like do I pack an extra outfit with me during the day to change into later or just suffer from either being too hot or too cold? The struggle is SO real. But, I have been shopping around and have found some super cute pieces that are absolutely perfect for this season transition time of year! And I have found that the key is light layers that you can adjust throughout the day.
It’s kind of that time of year where you can start to wear sweaters, but not too thick of sweaters, more lightweight and loose fit kind of sweaters. I am so pumped to finally be wearing and shopping around for sweaters again though, gets me so excited! I found the cutest transition sweater at Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and I love it, it has the cutest twist detailing in the front and is a really nice waffle-cut material, so cute and cozy! I am wearing a size XXS for reference and it does fit TTS with a bit of a crop to it as well. I recommend wearing high rise or mid rise bottoms with this sweater.
Today was just one of those perfect fall days you could hope for, living in Seattle. With clear blue skies, shining sun, and leaves all around, everywhere was picture perfect. I figured, why not dress up a little, curl my hair, and enjoy a nice relaxing fall day?
I recently purchased this sweater/cardigan from American Eagle Outfitters and am so obsessed. It goes with literally everything! (Same with my new favorite pair of booties!) See how I sport it here with one of my new favorite go-to outfits for fall!
