Time really does fly when you’re having fun. Today is Josh and I’s 4 year anniversary and it’s so crazy to think we’ve already been together for 4 years! It feels like we’ve know each other our whole lives, and the past 4 years have gone so fast! My best friend, my travel buddy, my rock, my whole world. We set up our own little couples photoshoot this year in some farm land area near our apartment to get some nice photos of us with Charlotte for our anniversary (getting a puppy to pose for the camera always has its challenges haha), and had so much fun getting some new photos! I wanted to share our little photo gallery in today’s post if you’re looking into getting couples photos taken and wanted some inspiration, as well as share the story of how we met!Continue reading “How Josh and I Met; Our 4 Year Anniversary”
If you follow along on my Instagram, you probably saw me post about this dress on stories recently! While Josh thinks this dress looks like a grandma’s couch or pillowcase (insert eye roll here), I love it and think it’s so cute for summer! Probably my favorite dress I own for summer and even into early fall as well!Continue reading “Summer Boho Dress”
Happy Friday eve friends! Who’s ready for the holiday weekend?? I honestly think a majority of my weekend will consist of keeping up with homework, unfortunately, but also a lot of blogging which I am excited for!
Today’s outfit gets me super pumped because it has everything you could want in an outfit. Comfort, cute, casual, and trendy. I absolutely love clothing that I can style in so many different ways and just get a lot of use out of. Definitely an everyday fashion kinda girl, for sure. What’s kinda fun about this outfit is that it was unintentionally put together as a total Free People inspired outfit, also entirely from Macy’s!
Today’s OOTD consists of one of my new shopping finds, this super cute cover-up sweater from Free People! What I love about this sweater is that it can be dressed in so many ways, something I really like about articles of clothing. It’s a fairly light fashion sweater, which makes it work with shorts on sunny days like this, or even a cute pair of jeans and ankle booties any other day.
But as the weather has been so nice, I have paired the sweater with a pair of black denim shorts and sandals. Free People is very boho and definitely gives off a music festival, indie vibe, which is kind of fun to dress up every once in a while! This sweater is also a great cover-up for a beach day or even a day at home to stay comfy and cozy.
The sweater is a bit pricey, but it’s super cute and can be used in so many ways that it makes it totally worth the price you pay. Just be careful of washing the sweater in the laundry! I, unfortunately, made the mistake of sticking it in the laundry with all my other clothes with warm water to have it come out of the laundry and dryer completely messed up and raggedy, which I eventually ended up having to exchange for a new one. Definitely aware of the problem and will be handwashing the sweater with cold water!

Whites and denim. I am totally loving my recent back to school purchases. While cool enough in the mornings for jeans, and warm enough in the afternoon for a tank, this is definitely my go-to outfit as summer starts to transition into fall. Plus, this entire outfit is currently under $80 (excluding the Ray-Ban’s and bracelets) and I could not have been happier about it. Consider me ready for fall in this September heat!
