Happy 2019! I can’t believe it’s already the new year! 2018 went SO quick and was a great year where I accomplished a lot and am so ready for 2019. So today I wanted to share my 2018 year in review and something exciting I either did or accomplished each month out of the year. I’ve seen a couple people do this on the gram the past few days and absolutely loved the idea! Such a great way to get to know someone a little bit better and celebrate the new year together! I also wanted to share some of my new year’s resolutions too!
I seriously cannot believe it’s almost 2019!! This year went by SO fast! I haven’t really even thought about New Years plans yet so still not sure what I’ll be doing, but as I have been shopping around online, I keep seeing so many cute new years outfits and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you all!
It’s so hard to believe that another year has already come and gone, time sure does fly! As I look back on 2017, I think of all the memories and good times I had, and even the times that weren’t so good. I look back on the things that I can do better and can change.
That’s one of my favorite things about this particular holiday. A new year means a new you. Each New Years holiday, I think of everything that happened over the past year and what I can do differently in the next. To dream big, to set goals for yourself, and to stay motivated to achieve those goals.
As I start to look ahead into the new year, I know exactly what resolutions I’d like to achieve in 2018, two important things in life for a girl my age.
I am a total shopper and absolutely love shopping for the latest fashion trends and beauty looks, but of course I can’t live like that forever! I’ve decided to become more financially smart in 2018 and improve on my current spending habits. Finance is important, and me still being a college student prevents me from being able to afford a lot of things. My goal is to work harder in 2018 and be smarter about my finances.
Hitting the gym and improving my health. Like most, it is a goal of mine to improve my current fitness habits in the new year. As I look back on 2017, I spent the first half of the year following through with my fitness resolution from last new years. I attended yoga classes regularly and was on a regular schedule at the gym at my school. But once I came home from school for the summer, I never fully continued with my fitness routines. Which is why I am setting it as another resolution of mine this year. Fitness and health is important, especially as I am adulting, and I would really like to put myself back on a regular workout schedule. I’d even like to try some new fitness routines such as attending barre classes, attend a cycle class such as SoulCycle, or even get back into attending yoga classes again. I guess one thing that has prevented me from doing that is once again the financial aspect of such classes. Gym memberships are expensive! But with putting your money in the right place, fitness is always worth it.
