Over the past couple of years, I’ve slowly added more and more dresses into my wardrobe. To be honest, I did not care for dresses at all when I was younger or growing up. The times really have changed, now I love them and love adding them to my wardrobe, especially in the summertime! I recently added this cute summer dress into my wardrobe and love it so much!
If you’ve ever heard of that quote that says “I feel more confident when I like my outfit”, that’s exactly how I feel when wearing this dress. I always feel a bit more confident when I like what I’m wearing that day, and love that clothing and your personal style can really make all the difference.
Time really does fly when you’re having fun. Today is Josh and I’s 4 year anniversary and it’s so crazy to think we’ve already been together for 4 years! It feels like we’ve know each other our whole lives, and the past 4 years have gone so fast! My best friend, my travel buddy, my rock, my whole world. We set up our own little couples photoshoot this year in some farm land area near our apartment to get some nice photos of us with Charlotte for our anniversary (getting a puppy to pose for the camera always has its challenges haha), and had so much fun getting some new photos! I wanted to share our little photo gallery in today’s post if you’re looking into getting couples photos taken and wanted some inspiration, as well as share the story of how we met!
The weather is finally cooperating here in the Seattle area and I could not be more happy about it, the summers here are my favorite! With the next couple weeks showing 70-80 degree weather, safe to say I’ll be at the beach just about every weekend. Today I’ll be sharing two of my favorite go-to beach looks for the summer and how you can style each!
If you follow along on my Instagram, you probably saw me post about this dress on stories recently! While Josh thinks this dress looks like a grandma’s couch or pillowcase (insert eye roll here), I love it and think it’s so cute for summer! Probably my favorite dress I own for summer and even into early fall as well!
Is it just me or is finding the perfect pair of distressed denim shorts unusually difficult? I found one of my favorite pairs of distressed shorts a couple years ago and then grew out of them. The struggle was real trying to find a new pair that I liked and fit nicely, and was overall similar to my favorite pair.
