One thing I love about the winter time in Washington is taking little day trips throughout the season to explore different parts of the state and to go out and have a fun day (especially where there is snow!). For the past two years, Josh and I have basically started our own little winter/Christmas season tradition of taking a day trip to Leavenworth to get in the holiday spirit and have some fun in the snow!
For the past month, I’ve realized that I haven’t shared a travel guide on my blog of my hometown, Seattle! I feel like this is a bit overdue, but something that I hope is useful to those looking to visit Seattle or those who have never been. For those that don’t know, I have lived in Seattle my entire life and I can definitely share the go-to places in the city.
This travel guide will provide everything you need for a trip to the city. Where to eat downtown, where to go for happy hour, where to visit/popular attractions, places for great Instagram-worthy photos, and more. Just note that this post will be a bit long, but hopefully is very useful for your next trip to the city!
Happy Friday, friends! Hope everyone had a great week and are ready for the weekend, I know I am!
The weather this week in Seattle was absolutely amazing! Serious summertime vibes going on with temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s all week, love!! (Tbh probably the only time I actually enjoy living in the PNW). All week I just wanted to be outside since we never see the sun here, so my boyfriend and I visited the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in Mount Vernon yesterday after class and it was so beautiful. I had never seen tulips so big before and all such pretty colors!
