Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great holiday! I took the whole week off from blogging and really enjoyed time away from my screen and to be more present with my family during this special time of year, and the break was SO nice and much needed after the crazy holiday season. But I wanted to get back into it today to share with all of you some of the gifts I got for Christmas this year. If you’re shopping some of those post-Christmas sales or looking to spend your gift cards that you got, I hope some of these things give you a little inspo on what to get too!
Are you located in the Seattle, St. Petersburg, or Washington DC areas, or traveling to these areas this holiday season? If so, this blog post is for you! My boyfriend, Josh, and I attended our first Enchant Christmas in Seattle last holiday season during its first year in Seattle and immediately fell in love with it and knew it was something we would be doing every Christmas season. We were so excited when we heard they were coming back to Seattle again this year!
Last Christmas, my family started the tradition of wearing ugly Christmas sweaters on Christmas Day for a family ugly sweater contest and I was not prepared at all for it. I literally showed up wearing a plain red sweater with a piece of paper taped to it that said, “This is my ugly Christmas sweater”. Surprisingly enough I won one of the prizes for the ‘most creative’ sweater. But this year, I’m prepared ahead of time after searching for some of the best ugly Christmas sweaters and could not wait to share some of my favorites that I found!
I wanted to put together a bit of a variety depending on what you’re looking for this year so I’ve included some cute “ugly” Christmas sweaters, comical sweaters from movies and TV shows, and festive sweaters as well!
It is officially the holiday season with Christmas being exactly a month away and I am so excited about it! I absolutely love this time of year and love everything Christmas, from watching Christmas movies, all the holiday lights and decorations everywhere, fun events and activities, and reading some good Christmas books! So, today, I’ll be sharing a round-up of some great Christmas books you need to read this holiday season to get in the festive and jolly spirit!
One of the most highly requested gift guides this holiday season that I received from followers on Instagram was a gift guide for friends/roommates such as stocking stuffers and other fun little gifts for your girlfriends. I could not wait to share my gift guide for this category because one of my favorite places to shop for this category, in particular, is American Eagle. They have the best selection of gifts and stocking stuffers for friends/roommates with such a variety and so much to choose from. So I decided to compile all of my favorite gift ideas all from American Eagle, and all under $30 in today’s gift guide! (Tbh, most items are under $20) Let’s get started!
