Happy Friday friends! I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and a great holiday spent with family and friends. I spent the holiday with my boyfriend and family and had the best time playing games, opening presents, and watching Christmas movies together. It really is the most wonderful time of the year! Only thing missing was snow! I always have such high expectations for Christmas right out of a Hallmark movie and always wish for a white Christmas every single year haha. But I really wanted to share some of the gifts I got with you all today! I got so many great gifts that were on my wishlist, and even some gifts I treated myself to as well. If you’re interested in any of the items below, I have linked them on each image, just click on the picture of the item!

Happy Friday! I am so excited to share my second gift guide of the season today with you all, a holiday shopping guide for winter cozy day essentials and the homebody! One of my absolute favorite things about the winter time is the cozy days spent inside by the fireplace, watching movies, and drinking hot cocoa. And these essentials help make the cozy day even better! As always, product details will be linked at the end of this post for you to shop if interested.
It is so hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already nearly two weeks away and that we’re already a week into November! This year is going by SO fast, it’s crazy!
For the past week, I’ve been starting to figure out my Thanksgiving outfit and definitely wanted to stick with the neutrals (because they’re my fave!) I wanted something a little dressy but also a little casual and comfortable for all the feasting lol. I feel like picking an outfit for Thanksgiving is actually kind of hard because, for me, I like to dress cute and a little fancy because it’s a holiday, however, there is SO much feasting that I also want to dress comfortably too haha.
Happy December and Merry Christmas! December is one of my favorite months out of the year because of my love of Christmas time and the holiday season. Each December, I love to relax in between holiday shopping with cozy winter days spent at home in cozy pajamas, drinking hot chocolates, baking holiday cookies, and watching Christmas movies! This year I wanted to share ten of my favorite Christmas movies with you all that I am always sure to watch every single year. I hope these movies become part of your Christmas traditions as well!
1. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
My number one favorite! The Chicago-based Christmas comedy is about a man wanting to have the perfect family Christmas, with perfect holiday decorations, the perfect Christmas tree, and the perfect family Christmas Eve celebration. But trying too much to make everything perfect, everything begins to fall apart.
My second Christmas favorite! This movie begins with a baby living in an orphanage who crawls into Santa’s bag on Christmas Eve and is transported to the North Pole. He becomes raised by elves living in the North Pole and eventually travels to New York City in search of his real father and bringing the spirit of Christmas to those in New York City.
3. Christmas With the Kranks
So many laughs in this one. I just watched this movie last night and could not stop laughing. In this Chicago-based movie, a couple finally alone for the holidays after their daughter moves out, plan to skip Christmas and all traditions and rituals associated with the holiday. But with their Christmas-obsessed neighbors and residents of Chicago, the couple cannot catch a break from being ridiculed for their skipping Christmas and lack of Christmas spirit.
4. Home Alone
When 8-year-old Kevin acts out in front of his family and relatives the night before a family trip to Paris, he is sent up to sleep in the attic, wishing he didn’t have a family and could live alone. When he awakens to an empty house the next morning after his whole family forgot about him in the attic and left to the airport in such a rush, Kevin begins to believe that his wish for no family came true. He has the time of his life until two bad guys plan to rob his house, in which Kevin becomes the man of the house and does everything to protect his home.
5. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
In this Home Alone sequel, Kevin is put in a similar situation as in the first movie, except this time he is lost in one of the biggest cities in the world, New York City. Instead of being forgotten in the attic, Kevin loses track of his father at the airport when they all try to take a family trip to Florida. Thinking he sees his father, Kevin follows the man onto a plane that turns out to be flying to New York City, while the rest of his family is on their way to Florida for Christmas. Now alone in the Big Apple, Kevin has the Christmas vacation he always wanted on his own and exploring the big city. But when the same bad guys end up being in New York as well, Kevin does everything he can to stop them from robbing a toy store before Christmas.
6. Dear Santa
This is SUCH a cute movie with such a good story to it, perfect for the holiday season. I just found this movie about two years ago on Netflix and immediately added it to my list of Christmas movies I watch every year. It’s about a rich woman living in the city who finds a “Dear Santa” letter blowing in the wind. The letter is from a little girl who is asking Santa to bring a new wife to her widower father. I love this movie so much and always love to find some new Christmas movies to add to my December movie list, if you guys haven’t checked this one out yet, I definitely recommend it!
7. The Mistle-tones
This ABC Family (Freeform) Christmas original is another good, fairly new Christmas movie that I just found a couple years ago. Normally, I am not one who enjoys musicals or musical movies, but I actually enjoyed this one a lot! It’s about a talented singer, Holly, who auditions for a spot in a legendary local Christmas musical group founded by her mother years previous. When Holly is not given the slot in the group, she sets out to create her own musical group, The Mistle-tones, and begins to challenge the legendary group. With a lot of Christmas and a little bit of romance, this is one of my newly favorite Christmas movies. And I definitely recommend for those who enjoy musicals or even for those who don’t!
8. Four Christmases
Definitely an accurate representation of what some Christmases can be like, visiting all the in-laws and family in one day. This movie is about an unmarried couple who spend their Christmas day trudging around to multiple family get-togethers after their vacation plans fall apart due to weather conditions. With Christmas and comedy, this movie is a must-watch!
9. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
A classic that I never get tired of. I watched this movie every single year as a kid and of course still do today! The story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer saving Christmas never gets old!
10. A Charlie Brown Christmas
Another Christmas classic! I always enjoy watching the different Charlie Brown holiday movies, during Halloween, Thanksgiving, and of course Christmas, it’s always such a cute story and I love the characters!
I hope you all enjoyed the list and hope you watch some of these movies this Christmas season. Feel free to leave a comment below for any other good Christmas movies you think I should check out!
