Happy Thanksgiving! This week has been such a crazy week with Thanksgiving and all of the early Black Friday sales going on. As a blogger, it’s probably the most overwhelming week out of the whole year. I never post every single day of the week, but I really wanted to try and even out shopping guides/sales round ups and personal/lifestyle content to not overwhelm you all as well.
In the midst of this crazy week, I wanted to take this time on Thanksgiving to write out all the things I’m thankful for this year with the year that 2020 has been. No matter how you’re celebrating today, I encourage you all to take some time out of the day as well and step away from the Black Friday deals for a minute and really reflect on this year and all the positives in your life rather than focusing on the negative; what are things you’re thankful and grateful for? If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s to really appreciate the things you do have than the things you don’t, and that has made all the difference.
Happy Monday and welcome to what feels like day 89374813742 of quarantine! For the first couple of weeks of quarantine, I actually felt pretty unaffected by self-quarantine and everything around us in our communities shutting down, as weird as it was to see that happen.
Now that the stay at home orders have been in place for over a month now, I have definitely felt my anxiety catch up to me about everything over the past 2 weeks or so concerning the virus and everything being shut down. As I have felt my anxiety catch up to me over the past couple of weeks, I have been treating myself to extra self-care and have been keeping myself busy through various different activities to take my mind off everything and really make the most out of all of this time at home. So, today I’ll be sharing everything that I’m doing during quarantine that has helped my anxiety – let’s get started!
If there’s one thing I feel that doesn’t get talked about too much online, it’s the topic of what life looks like within the first 6 months to a year after graduating college. This is such a crazy, transitional, and totally unglamorous period of time, and I am here today to share my story. Sometimes it’s nice to stumble upon an article or blog post about something super relatable to something you’re going through in life or a period of time in your life, and I hope this post finds you when you need it and offers a little bit of hope and inspiration!
Are you located in the Seattle, St. Petersburg, or Washington DC areas, or traveling to these areas this holiday season? If so, this blog post is for you! My boyfriend, Josh, and I attended our first Enchant Christmas in Seattle last holiday season during its first year in Seattle and immediately fell in love with it and knew it was something we would be doing every Christmas season. We were so excited when we heard they were coming back to Seattle again this year!
I just realized it’s been forever since I’ve shared a life update post with you all! Life has sure been crazy for me over the past couple of months and it has made this year absolutely fly by in the blink of an eye. I felt that today was the best time to share a little life update and what’s been going on in my life lately because SO much is new and changing over here! In this post, I’ll be sharing a bit about what’s been going on for fun in my life, work-life, and of course, the blog!
