One thing I love about the winter time in Washington is taking little day trips throughout the season to explore different parts of the state and to go out and have a fun day (especially where there is snow!). For the past two years, Josh and I have basically started our own little winter/Christmas season tradition of taking a day trip to Leavenworth to get in the holiday spirit and have some fun in the snow!
Do you ever scroll through Instagram or Pinterest and see all of these super cute posed snow day photos and get inspired and in the mood for a winter wonderland? Because I know I do! Now that a lot of my blogging work requires time on Instagram, I wanted to take some cute snow day photos myself and go on little snow day adventures around my state for the perfect snowy photos! It made for super fun date days for my boyfriend and I as well which was a total bonus. Because snow day photos for the gram and Pinterest are so popular, I wanted to share some of my favorite locations to go to in Washington in the winter time to capture the perfect snow day photos!

If you follow along on my Instagram I’m sure you already saw a couple pictures and stories about my day trip, but I’m super excited to share everything about it today!

But my boyfriend kept telling me how cool of an experience it is to walk through the Ape Caves at the mountain. We’d talked about it for a while and I finally agreed to go. I had gone long enough without going to the mountain and was really just curious what it was like there. Continue reading “Friday Favorite: Ape Caves at Mt. St. Helens”
