How I’ve Started to Incorporate Eco-Friendly Household Items Into My Daily Routine

We have faced so many serious issues in the world this year, one of them being the effects of climate change. Living on the west coast, I’ve seen the wildfires get worse and worse each year that we get them. I’ve spent a bit of time this year educating myself on these serious issues we have been faced with in 2020 and have tried to find ways to help protect the planet and reduce my carbon footprint just by simple household items that I use daily. One of those items in particular being how I drink my water each day.

My Go-To Post-Workout Snack

A lot of gyms may still be closed, but I am making full use of working out from home throughout quarantine, even in my small one bedroom apartment! Keeping up with my health and wellness throughout quarantine this year has been super important to me and honestly has really helped with keeping me feeling sane through the madness that 2020 has been and has also been such a great way to de-stress and take my mind off of everything. After each workout that I do, I always find myself with the post-workout munchies and immediately head for the kitchen to refuel after a good workout. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about setting personal goals, it’s that while it may seem very easy and achievable at first, it can also seem overwhelming or even impossible later on. I know most of us set new years resolutions every year and are super motivated to achieve them for the first couple days, but after those first couple days pass, we abandon them, and then repeat that cycle every year.
